The Bassett Physician Group is comprised of a full-time, salaried staff numbering over 400 physicians and advanced practice professionals in a multi-specialty group practice. The Bassett Physician Group provides primary and specialty care at the Bassett Clinic and staffs Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown. Through the Bassett Regional Network, Bassett physicians and other health professionals provide primary, preventive, and outpatient care at 30 health centers, as well as care and treatment at 20 school-based health centers throughout the region to children who might otherwise never have the chance to receive this care.

About the Community

Cooperstown is the home of the Baseball Hall of Fame, The Glimmerglass Opera and the NY State Historical Association and museums. There is a strong performing and fine arts culture, with many venues around the area. Also, the lakes, state and county parks and private facilities in the region offer plenty of recreational opportunities. Easy access to Metro areas -NYC, Boston, Syracuse and Albany.
