Founded in 1921, we continue to be the leading health provider for those who live and work in the Greater Bristol area. Our organization has earned national recognition for its commitment to providing outstanding patient care. Our hospital has 169 licensed beds and offers a complete range of patient services including a first-rate emergency center that cares for more than 40,000 patients each year.

As healthcare has changed through the years, so have we. Having grown from a community hospital (founded in 1921) to an integrated network that provides a full-continuum of services - both inpatient and outpatient - Bristol Hospital and Healthcare Group, in 2019, became Bristol Health. The name change better reflects our integrated network of providers and the full scope of care we have offered the community for years. The organization's name has changed, but its commitment to the highest quality, compassionate and advanced care remains.

Our provider group, known as Bristol Health Medical Group is a network of community-based practices staffed by some of the regions most skilled physicians, nurses and specialists. We bring together a broad range of healthcare professionals to deliver a full range of primary, specialty, and urgent care services.
